Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Columbus, OH)

Summit Beacon Markets is a Columbus retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to shrink and waste at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
