Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Lumen West Farms and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 577 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to seasonal crews at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support seasonal crews. • Experience with an ERP system.
