Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Austin, TX)

Westbrook Fern Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Austin, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Austin. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to customer tracking at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer tracking. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
