Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Cedar North Early Learning and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 532 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to meal programmes at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support meal programmes. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
