Senior Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (Portland, OR)

Northwind Umber Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Portland area. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on invoice matching. You would join a small organisation of about 60 people based in Portland. What you will do • Keep stock linked to food costs at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support food costs. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
