Senior Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (Grand Rapids, MI)

Fernwood Wren Freight Group is a Grand Rapids logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our invoice matching. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
