Senior Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (Detroit, MI)

Lumen Lakeside Foods is a Detroit food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on invoice matching. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to customer specifications at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer specifications. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
