Senior Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (Chicago, IL)

Foxglove Meadow Press produces print and digital publications in Chicago. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on invoice matching. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to paper stock at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support paper stock. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
