Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (San Jose, CA)

Harborlight Umber Freight is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
