Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (San Diego, CA)

Foxglove Bridge Freight is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to dock schedules at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
