Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Summit Meadow Housing Group and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to maintenance stores at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support maintenance stores. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
