Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Rochester, NY)

Amberfield Yarrow Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to guest bookings at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support guest bookings. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
