Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (remote)

Fernwood Cross Foods is a Memphis food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
