Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (remote)

Amberfield Union Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Hartford, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 752 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
