Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Kansas City, MO)

Northwind Meridian Foods Partners is a Kansas City food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to allergen controls at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support allergen controls. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
