Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Kansas City, MO)

Fernwood Umber Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Kansas City, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP system.
