Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Kansas City, MO)

Westbrook Wren Freight is a Kansas City logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to customer tracking at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer tracking. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
