Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Jackson, MS)

Greenridge Stone Freight Group is a Jackson logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
