Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Grand Rapids, MI)

Greenridge North Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Keep stock linked to machine downtime at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
