Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Grand Rapids, MI)

Silverline Corner Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Grand Rapids plant, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Keep stock linked to bindery work at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
