Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Summit Markets and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to online orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
