Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Chicago, IL)

Bright Cross Civic Services Group is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for public records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 197 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to public records at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support public records. • Experience with an ERP system.
