Senior Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Manufacturing and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 372 people based in Austin. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to work orders at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
