Senior Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Orchard Transit Planning and adding a Senior Programme Coordinator whose main responsibility will be volunteer coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 479 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Prepare reports on ridership counts for funders. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. What we are looking for • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Organised, warm and resourceful. Nice to have • Grant reporting experience. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
