Senior Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (remote)

Harborlight Amber Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Oakland, and we need a Senior Programme Coordinator to lead our volunteer coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 842 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare reports on school calendars for funders. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. What we are looking for • Organised, warm and resourceful. • Experience coordinating programmes or events. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. Nice to have • Grant reporting experience. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
