Senior Programme Coordinator - volunteer coordination (Des Moines, IA)

Lumen Nest Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Des Moines, and we need a Senior Programme Coordinator to lead our volunteer coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan and run activities, workshops and events. • Track attendance, outcomes and grant requirements. • Recruit, train and thank volunteers. • Keep partners informed and communication friendly. • Prepare reports on maintenance stores for funders. What we are looking for • Organised, warm and resourceful. • Willing to work some evenings and weekends. • Experience coordinating programmes or events. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance stores. • Grant reporting experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
