Senior Production Supervisor - shift supervision (remote)

Fernwood Farms is an agricultural business based around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on shift supervision. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and harvest schedules. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
