Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Seattle, WA)

Summit Nest Press is a printer and publisher in Seattle serving local and national clients, and we need a Senior Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
