Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Rochester, NY)

Bright Ember Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and production lines. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
