Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Rochester, NY)

Bright Ember Manufacturing Group is looking for a Senior Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training.
