Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Rochester, NY)

Amberfield Kestrel Press is a printer and publisher in Rochester serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
