Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Reno, NV)

Bright Field Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and scrap and rework. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
