Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Summit Basin Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and production batches. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
