Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Nova Ember Press produces print and digital publications in Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and paper stock. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
