Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Cedar Vale Manufacturing Partners manufactures parts and assemblies at its Austin plant. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a large organisation of about 331 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and machine downtime. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
