Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Amberfield Forge Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Rochester region. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and field records. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
