Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Greenridge Kestrel Press produces print and digital publications in Seattle. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
