Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Stonegate River Press is looking for a Senior Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
