Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Rivermark Press produces print and digital publications in Charleston. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and print quotes. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with print quotes. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
