Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Providence, RI)

Redstone Timber Auto Group is looking for a Senior Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and supplier deliveries. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
