Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Orlando, FL)

Cedar Press is looking for a Senior Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for press runs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and press runs. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
