Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Omaha, NE)

Fernwood Cross Foods is a Omaha food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and allergen controls. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
