Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Kansas City, MO)

Northwind Meridian Foods Partners is a Kansas City food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer specifications. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
