Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Fernwood River Manufacturing and adding a Senior Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be scheduling and staffing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and tooling. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
