Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Jacksonville, FL)

Amberfield Cobalt Press is looking for a Senior Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
