Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Juniper Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Grand Rapids plant, and we need a Senior Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and sanitation schedules. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
