Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Nova Iron Auto Group and adding a Senior Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be scheduling and staffing. You would join a large organisation of about 316 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer estimates. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with customer estimates. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
