Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Hollow Farms and adding a Senior Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be scheduling and staffing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and packing house output. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
