Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Grand Rapids, MI)

Redstone Juniper Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer specifications. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
