Senior Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Des Moines, IA)

Fernwood Wilder Medical is a Des Moines company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Senior Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and production lots. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with production lots. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
